Your Best Days

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The […]

The Thief of Joy

Don’t you dare compare. Comparing is the opposite of gratitude and appreciation. Never compare your life with someone else who you may think has it better unless you are willing to also compare your life to someone who you know has it worse. Home     Contact   […]

Great teachers often make you do an incredibly difficult task that seems pointless. Why in the world am I having to go through this? you ask. Then at some point, maybe years later, you discovered that the task had a wonderful meaning because it helped you learn something […]

3 am Email

Mr.Passaro, two weeks ago I told my girlfriend about a book I thought I would like to read. Before I could order it myself she showed up at my apartment and had a surprise for me, it was your book “Every Breath Is Gold, Complete Series.”

I was very appreciative knowing she was thinking of me.

Although I was slightly disappointed because the book I was talking about was “Dominate.”

Twenty minutes ago I just finished the book. It only took me three days to finish it. That might not seem like a hard task for some except I have never read a whole book before in my life.

Your book has opened my eyes to many things.

Most importantly I realized my happiness does not depend on my situation, but what I make of it and what I learn from it.

Secondly, that coincidences in life aren’t meaningless.

This really hit me when I was toward the end of your book and came across the chapter titled “3 am Emails.”

This gave me a chuckle because here I am working the midnight shift in a tire factory and I can’t decide whether I should contact you or not.

The second I had seen the chapter title I knew what it was about and I knew I had to reach out to you. It was no coincidence that she had got me the wrong book, I was meant to read this.

There was a time I was sour about all of my past hardships and I’ve always thought about how different it would be if things went exactly as I hoped.

But now I know every one of them has taught me a lesson and better prepared me for my next obstacle.

I would like to say thank you from a fellow wrestler.
